What is ACLS?

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are the steps taken for urgent treatment of cardiovascular emergencies. Cardiovascular emergencies include cardiac arrest, stroke, myocardial infarction, acute dysrhythmia, and others. Taking the ACLS course qualifies you to perform ACLS. Becoming a qualified provider requires the ability to manage your patient’s airways, initiate vascular access, interpret electrocardiograms, and understand emergency pharmacology.

Many of Marten’s emergency responder courses build off of one another. CPR is one of the fundamental steps when cardiac arrest occurs. The Basic Life Support (BLS) course lays the foundation for the ACLS certification. ACLS Training

Marten’s Ambulance offers ACLS training classes in Cleveland, Ohio. Martens educational courses are taught by experienced professionals. This course follows the American Heart Association guidelines. The highlights of the ACLS course include the importance of high-performance team dynamics and thorough communication. You will learn the systems of care, recognition, and intervention of cardiovascular emergencies.

With case-by-case scenarios, our teaching includes hands-on training as well as a skills session. Students build on their skills, learning the difference in diagnosis and treatment of prearrest, arrest, and postarrest patients.

Certifications courses are taught in an active classroom setting. Through years of teaching experience, Martens has learned that classes are best taught in small groups.
